Are You the One?

Matthew 11:2-11

Third Sunday of Advent

John's question is still being asked of Jesus today.  "Are you the one or are we to wait for another?"  Which Jesus is it that comes to us at Christmas?  Is it the infant Jesus easy to love but demanding little of us?  Is it the world shaker who so upset the world that he was put to death?  Whatever we imagine about Jesus, it is too little.  The answer lies in what we see and hear of God's work all around us.
